I heard this band on Radio One yesterday as I was on my way home in the car and I had to turn the radio up loud their song “Doubt” was just so great.
I love the sound. There is definate undertones of New Order and Electronic which is par for the course for a Manchester band, but that wacked out drum pattern is what drew me in. It’s not just dum thwack dum thwack all the way through.
This music is Electronica at its best with Delphic being one of the 15 shortlisted music acts for the BBC Sound of 2010 announced on Monday 7th December 2009. As of the 6th January 2010, Delphic were placed Third on BBC Sound of 2010.
