Well it’s only been two weeks since the launch of independent musician and resource site Brand New Music UK and we’ve come so far already. Thanks for your support and also to all musicians supporting the service.

I suppose it is a service really because we exist to give you that extra boost you need as an indie musician or band. Not only that but we’re FREE which means all you need to do is log on and check out the articles, links and reviews and hopefully it will give you the guidance to move to the next step, whatever level you’re at.

Of course we would love you to let your friends and other indie musicians know about BrandNewMusicUK.com because word of mouth is so important with projects like this. We exist because we can afford to provide this site, but if we have to start pouring money into advertising then that would have to be re-couped somehow and we’re vehemently opposed to charging indie musicians and bands because being indie isn’t about money, it’s about the art, and art cannot be nurtured by throwing money at it – it needs care and attention.

It’s great to get support from established musicians and artists too and coming soon we have interviews from Peter and Alex from D:Ream as they release their new single and album. Also Josh Ward from Josh’s Band and the T-Mobile ad’s and Rowetta from the Happy Monday’s and X-Factor.
