Ofcom & Community Radio Stations
Ofcom is the communications regulator. They regulate TV and radio, fixed line telecoms and mobiles, plus the airwaves over which wireless devices operate.
Their website http://www.ofcom.org.uk has a wealth of information to hand about the services they provide – but the jewel in the crown is the list of Community Radio Stations they have and the contact numbers for those stations.
This list is the best way to start your assault on the airwaves when you’re releasing your own music, songs and singles. Read the section on Radio for more on this topic, but for the list of community radio stations visit http://www.ofcom.org.uk/static/radiolicensing/Community/community-main.html
