From Salford in Manchester So Shush are indie pop rock leaning to the 60s with a very alternative sound.

This is a duo with a very big sound. I was impressed by them when their first album “Wistful Wanders” landed on my desk and at the time I was programme controller at Cheshire FM in 2009.
As the programme controller of any radio station I strongly believe you have a civic duty to new music and should give every CD that lands in front of you your time… and I’m glad that I have that in built attitude because without it So Shush would have passed by myself and the many listeners of Cheshire FM.
Favourites of Neil Young who regularly features them on his radio shows and a large following in the US and Canada really puts So Shush on the map musically and geographically.
Since MySpace have upped the song limit from six to ten they have uploaded more tracks and I’m still loving them even though it’s a good six months since I last listened to their tunes. I’m sat here with their player on loop and I’m still transfixed by that 60s indie rock sound they have and Carole’s enchanting vocals.
Their third album “Manchester Times” is due for release January 25th 2010 and will be available via iTunes, Amazon and other major digital networks so keep an eye out, and in the meantime check out their MySpace.
